Donate A Bike

Kentakee Athletic & Social Clubs is always accepting bicycle donations to add to our used-loaner bicycle fleet. From the older road bike in your Grandmother's attic, to the slightly used bicycle your neighbor is getting rid of because he or she has upgraded to the latest Trek Mountain Bike; our used-loner fleet welcomes any (used) newcomers to our bicycle family. All bikes are welcome as we recycle and scrap bike parts and use the funding to provide more programs. Unfortunately we cannot pick up bikes from your home. However, we would love to have you drop them off at the Berston Field House, 3300 North Saginaw Street, Flint MI 48505. Contact Angela @ 810.422.5446 to make arrangements or if you have any questions. All donations are tax deductable.

Volunteer

It takes a village to raise a child properly. People like  you from the community enable Kentakee to provide services for adolescents. You don't need to be an expert in bike repairs, fundraising or a child psychologist. Do you want to help? Can you follow instructions? If you answered yes to these questions then we have volunteer opportunities available for you.

Program Sweep Volunteer: Do you like riding your bike? Perhaps you enjoy riding in large groups or maybe you just want to see more cyclist on the road riding safely. Attend a Bike Riding session and assist with making sure our kids are safe on the road.

Registration/ Graduation Day Volunteer: Riding bikes may not your thing. Maybe you want to help out in the bike space. We would love to have you visit one of our bike sessions during the Registration Process or Graduation Day and assist with measuring participants height or client weigh in's.

Bike Repair Volunteer: Our Loner-used bicycle fleet requires quite a bit of tender love and care. Sometimes our kids can be a bit rough on bike fleet. Those skills you developed while tinkering with your bike as a teenager could be utilized to keep our bikes up and running safely. We welcome bike mechanics with moderate to advanced bike repair skills.
